Once upon a time, it is said, while God was distributing land to the peoples of the Earth, Bulgarians were busy working for their living and could not come on time to get their share. When finally they came and asked God where their land was, the only thing God could do was to shake out what was left of the contents of his sack - what He was keeping in reserve to create the Heavenly Garden. So, God gave Bulgarians the best of everything: splendid mountains, Black Sea coast, torrential rivers, over 600 healing mineral springs, fertile soils, and wonderful wines. The Bulgarian legend continues after 13 centuries!
